Ravenswood Family Health Center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
Ravenswood Family Health Center (RFHC) sites are Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) deemed facilities. Ravenswood Family Health Center is a 501 (c)3 non-profit community-based Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) offering comprehensive medical, dental, mental health, and specialty healthcare services. RFHC is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). Medical, Dental, & Behavioral Health professional employees may receive National Health Service Corps school loan repayment and scholarship forgiveness for working at RFHC.
