American Leadership Forum Honors Luisa Buada

American Leadership Forum - Silicon Valley Honors Luisa Buada with the John W. Gardner Award 2016. John W. Gardner was Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare at the height of President Lyndon B. Johnson’s Great Society legislation, a set of domestic programs aimed at the elimination of poverty and racial injustice.

He founded Common Cause and Independent Sector and widely regarded as a thought leader in many areas including leadership in American society. Gardner both helped design the national ALF organization and develop the Silicon Valley ALF chapter. Therefore we honor his legacy and contributions by recognizing ALF Senior Fellows who demonstrate the ALF spirit by inspiring others to get involved, serve as bridge builders, successfully lead through complex issues, and demonstrate ALF core values of diversity, inclusiveness, civility, engagement, and respect.
