Anna (Anita) Allouche, PNP – Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Anita Allouche completed her MS in Nursing at the University of California at San Francisco in 2015. She graduated with a BSN from Columbia University in 2010, and also holds a BA from Mount Holyoke College. Anita grew up in the Dominican Republic, and began working in healthcare at the age of 16. She has worked as a home health aide, nursing assistant, EMT, and RN. She joined us at Ravenswood in 2011 as a nurse, and transitioned to the NP role in 2015.
Michelle Buccholz, FNP – Family Nurse Practitioner
Michelle was raised in the Bay Area, but left California to pursue studies in International Health at Georgetown University. After her undergraduate training, Michelle worked with public health organizations in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as a community health researcher and educator. Michelle subsequently earned her BSN and MS degrees at the University of Pennsylvania as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Ravenswood in 2016, she practiced at a federally qualified health center and a psychiatric hospital in Philadelphia. Michelle is particularly passionate about health care for the homeless, and integrating mental health care in the primary care setting. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys traveling, open water swimming, camping, and cooking.
Nina Chu, NP – Nurse Practitioner
Nina earned her undergraduate degree in Human Biology with a concentration in Community Health and Child Development from Stanford University in 2012, and went on to complete her training to become both a Registered Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner at the University of California at San Francisco after a stint as a project coordinator at the John W. Gardner Center for Youth and their Communities. Nina completed her Family Nurse Practitioner Residency at Ravenswood, and came back to join us full-time in 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and taking dance classes.
Dylan Coyne, NP – Nurse Practitioner
Dylan is a Bay Area native and did her undergraduate studies at Santa Clara University. After graduating in 2014 with a B.S. in Anthropology, Dylan decided to turn her attention to healthcare. In 2014, Dylan began working at Ravenswood Family Health Center as a student intern where she supported medical and administrative staff across several departments. During her time at Ravenswood, Dylan’s interest in direct patient care grew. In 2017, she decided to get her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since graduating in 2020 from the University of California, San Francisco, Dylan is excited to return to Ravenswood to work directly with patients. Her particular interests include healthcare for the homeless and working with both immigrant communities and transitional age youth.
Bradley Hamann, MHS, PA – Family Practice Physician Assistant
Brad completed the Physician Assistant Program at Duke University Medical Center in 2003, after serving with the Peace Corps for two years in Ecuador following his 1996 graduation from the University of California at San Diego with a BS in Biochemistry. For five years prior to joining Ravenswood, he was a PA at the Family HealthCare Network in Orosi, California.
Doriel Pearson-Nishioka, MS, PA-C – Pediatric Physician Assistant
Doriel completed her Masters of Science in PA studies at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in 1986. She holds a BS in Medical Science and a MS in Child Health. She is board certified by the NCCPA in Family Medicine with a practice emphasis in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. She has worked professionally as a Pediatric PA since 1986 in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, school based health centers, community based health centers, and academic teaching hospitals including UCLA and Stanford Medical Centers. She has enjoyed a robust career in pediatric medicine and is passionate about child and adolescent wellness, and dedicated to serving her community. When Doriel is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and attending music, dance, and theater arts performances. Habla Espanol.
Erin Li, NP – Nurse Practitioner

Lisa Lestishock, PNP – Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Lisa Lestishock joined our pediatric team in 2002. Her first encounter with community medicine was as a public health nurse in the barrio of Guatemala City. She completed nurses training at Villanova University and Advanced Practice Pediatric Nursing at University of California, San Francisco. Lisa splits her time between Ravenswood and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, where she works on their mobile clinic and specializes in the care of high-risk and homeless adolescents.
Rebecca Pinto, PA – Physician Assistant, Certified
Rebecca is a graduate of Yale University School of Medicine’s Physician Associate program, and is a Board Certified Physician Assistant in Primary Care and Surgery. She has over 30 years of experience in gynecology, adolescent medicine, and primary care. Rebecca was a long-time staff member at Planned Parenthood Golden Gate, where she was Lead Clinician and Trainer.
Jasmine Ruiz, FNP – Family Practice
Jasmine Ruiz, FNP received her Master’s in Science from Chamberlain University in 2018. Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, she was employed at Ravenswood as a Pediatric Registered Nurse for 4 years. Jasmine currently volunteers her time with the American Heart Association and National Association of Hispanic Nurses to provide blood pressure checks and community education .

Ivonne Velado, MHS, PA-C – Family Practice Physician Assistant
Ivonne completed the Physician Assistant Program at Duke University Medical Center in 2001, after graduating from the University of California at San Diego with a double major in Biology and Literature in 1995. Prior to joining our staff at Ravenswood, Ivonne worked as a PA at Willow Clinic, and at Family Healthcare Network in Visalia, California.
Amy Wolfe, RNP, MPH – Family Nurse Practitioner
Amy joined our Ravenswood staff in December 2001, and has provided primary care services to adult patients since the day our clinic opened. She received her MPH from the University of California at Los Angeles, and worked for six years as a research assistant at the University of California at San Francisco’s Center for Reproductive Health Policy. She completed her second Master’s degree in the UCSF Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2000, and spent 7 months working in Ecuador in rural and urban settings before coming to Ravenswood.
Kari Fish, FNP – Family Nurse Practitioner
Kari is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has experience working with the homeless and under-served via clinic-based settings and street-medicine on skid-row in Los Angeles as well as public-health research on socioeconomic and racial/ethnic disparities in health outcomes. She completed her Masters of Public Health from UC Davis and her MSN from California State University, Los Angeles. She sees patients of all ages. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Shian Hong, FNP – Family Nurse Practitioner
Shian is a Family Nurse Practitioner who grew up in San Jose and completed her Masters of Science as an FNP at Columbia University, NYC. She is now back near family in the Bay Area. She is experienced at interviewing patients in both Spanish and Vietnamese and performing physical examinations. Shian is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish.
Sima Parsotam, FNP – Family Nurse Practitioner
Sima came to MayView from Crescent Medical Center in San Jose where she practiced primary care and urgent care. She also worked as a Registered Nurse at Murfreesboro Medical Center in Tennessee. Sima received her Master of Science degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner at Tennessee State University and her Bachelor degree in Nursing at Carson-Newman College in Tennessee. She is fluent in English and Gujarti and conversational Spanish.
Jessie Peng, FNP – Family Nurse Practitioner
Jessie is a Family Nurse Practitioner that trained at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She initially found her passion for under-served populations while working within rural villages of Alaska, and while caring for under-served communities across Cleveland, Ohio. She joined MayView Community Health Center in 2019. She focuses on collaborative patient-centered care and enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish.
Amanda van Gils, PA – Staff Physician Assistant
Amanda is a physician assistant. She was born and raised in Miami, FL and is a native Spanish speaker. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Utah State University in 2004. She received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah in 2008. Amanda enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
